We welcome you to our campsite to take your time, relax, slow down and enjoy the nature and the sea.
We have made a treasure hunt for children aged 4 – 80 years. You get your treasure map in the reception. The treasure hunt is free and there is a little bit of treasure for all participants.
Camping on the island of Moen
The campsite is situated beautifully on the northern coast of Moen at the sound of Ulvsund, with a view to the southern part of Zealand.
The island of Moen is connected to Zealand by the “Queen Alexandrine´s Bridge” which is one of the most beautiful bridges in Denmark.
Both pitches and cabins are placed with views to the sea and the southern part of Zealand. The site is ideal for kayaking and small boats, fishing, hiking and biking. Both biking routes and hiking trails pass right by the campsite. We have our own landing stage for kayaks and you can moor a boat at our boat bridge.
We have lots of room for relaxation and tranquility along with simple wellness in our wood-fired sauna. In July and August, an area by the waterfront is reserved exclusively for tents. It also includes an outdoor kitchenette, a fireplace and our shelter.
Wi-fi is available all over the site.
On-site, the reception is also our farm shop with meat and sausages from our own calves and local specialties from Moen. A range of commonly used groceries and fresh bread, if ordered the day before, is also available. It also holds the local tourist information with in-depth knowledge of Moen and Southern Zealand. Finally , we rent our kayaks from there and can also arrange bike hire, in case you get inspired by the beautiful scenery on Moen.
Camping Moenbroen belongs to Koster Færgegård, our organic farm, and we have made a nature trail following the fields closest to the campsite. Following the coastline, you may see the white-tailed eagle, peregrine falcons, kestrels and wading birds as well as our Angus cows and off course the water.
If you have not visited Moens Klint yet – it is only a half hour by car. Biking, it is a day trip filled with surprises as the difference between western (flat) and eastern (hilly) Møn is revealed. And without the extra weight of the luggage, you can feel free to explore a lot of all the other exciting things Moen has to offer.
